Librarians, Archivists, and Museum Professionals in the History of the Health Sciences (LAMPHHS) membership is open to librarians, archivists, and museum professionals with responsibilities for collections and services in the history of the health sciences; antiquarian booksellers; physicians; historians; and others interested in historical health sciences collections. Members receive a subscription to THE WATERMARK, the association's quarterly newsletter, an occasional membership directory, and access to LAMPHHS-L, the private (members-only) listserv for our members.
Please note: Until a new LAMPHHS bank account is established, checks and PayPal payment should be payable to "ALHHS". Once the LAMPHHS account is established as the successor to ALHHS (Archivists and Librarians in the History of the Health Sciences) and MeMA (Medical Museums Association), all ALHHS funds will be transfered into this account and the ALHHS account will be closed.
Dues: $15.00 per year (U.S. Dollars)
Membership is based on the calendar year (1 January - 31 December 2020).
2020 Dues/Membership information may be obtained from the LAMPHHS Treasurer. She cannot retrieve snailmail from her office during a statewide stay-at-home order, but continues to work remotely. Please send membership inquiries (including instructions on where to mail a payment check if PayPal is not used) to:
